Privacy Policy and Terms of Use - Last updated and effective from: September 19, 2022
Your privacy and trust are very important to us. Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use describe the information we collect from you, how it’s collected, and what we do with it after we collect it, as well as terms of use for our applications.
We do not share your information with anyone except to comply with the law, provide a service you request, or protect our rights. We do not store your information on our servers unless required for the ongoing operation of one of our services.
Information we collect
Farm and Home Publishers may collect personally identifiable information through web server logs, Cookies, and/or user-supplied information.
1. iOS Version: Apple ID – We do not have access to personal information associated with your Apple ID, such as your name, email or credit card information. If iCloud Sync is enabled, your data is stored securely in a private container in your iCloud account.
2. Android Version: Google Account. We do not have access to personal
information associated with your Google Account, such as your name, email, or credit card information.
3. Email Address. If signing up for an account, FHP will store the provided email address in a 3 rd -party secure authentication system associated with your account. We do not have access to your password.
4. Web Server Logs – BY accessing the FHP GIS App, you interact with our web-hosted GIS infrastructure. The app sends certain types of information when you visit a web-hosted GIS system. The kinds of data may include your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, associated account, date and time of your visit, and other statistics.
5. Use of Cookies – A Cookie is a small data file that is placed on your device or computer’s hard drive to help us improve your user experience on our web-GIS and to identify repeat visitors. Usage of a cookie is not associated with any personally identifiable information on the FHP GIS App, nor can Cookies be used to deliver viruses.
6. User-supplied Information – Information you supply through online forms on our website may include personally identifiable information such as your email address, phone number, street address, or business information. The information is used to deliver the information or services you have requested.
Collection details
If you enable push notifications, we must store a token in order to send them. We use notifications only for the purposes described in the app, and never for additional marketing or promotions. Our server software may also temporarily store basic technical information in logs, such as your IP address.
Information usage
We respect the privacy of our website visitors and, therefore, we will not sell or intentionally release any of our visitors’ personal information to any third party. We will disclose any information requested by law enforcement or other government officials when required.
Security
We use industry-standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your information.
Exclusions
You may be able to access third-party websites and services directly from our website and applications. This Privacy Policy does not apply when you access third-party websites and services.
Terms Applicable for FHP GIS App
So long as you comply with these terms, we give you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use FHP GIS App for your own internal business or personal use and not for resale, distribution, sublicense or commercial use.
Unless the following restrictions are prohibited by law, you agree not to reverse engineer or decompile FHP GIS App and its suppliers, attempt to do so, or assist anyone in doing so.
FHP GIS App is provided on an “AS IS” and “WITH ALL FAULTS BASIS”. Farm and Home Publishers and its suppliers expressly disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of non-infringement, merchantability, satisfactory quality, accuracy, title, and fitness for a particular purpose. No oral or written advice or information provided by Farm and Home Publishers or any of its agents, employees, or third-party providers shall create a warranty, and you are not entitled to rely on any such advice or information.
You shall not use FHP GIS App to create (or assist in the creation of) a digital map database. A “digital map database” means a database of geospatial data containing the following information and attributes: (x) road geometry and street names; or (y) routing attributes that enable turn-by-turn navigation on such road geometry; or (z) latitude and longitude of individual addresses and house number ranges.
Location data may not be accurate.
